Mortal Kombat Trailer is Officially Unveiled: and Fans are Loving it.

With a fresh and promising start of 2021, movies that have been lined up for showcasing include an all-time favorite Mortal Kombat. The Mortal Kombat fans are everywhere and anxiously waiting for the thrill-packed screening. The released trailer successfully sparks a sensational curiosity among Mortal Combat fans. In addition, it flashes a brief sketch about the cast and storyline of aggressive fighters.

Here is all you need to know about the cast and hints of the released trailer’s story.

The franchise Mortal Kombat is based on the hyper-violent fighting game. Two movies of the franchise, original Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, have bagged $173,572,781 as combined revenue. Potentially another blockbuster film of this franchise is truly a high hope for viewers. Like all of Warner Bros’ 2021 blockbusters, Mortal Kombat will release in theaters and on HBO Max simultaneously on April 16th, 2021.

Trailer Side of The Story

Continuing the flow of nature of the game, the trailer shows a very violent movie. MMA fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan), who assumes the suspiciously dragon-shaped scar on his chest just a birthmark (which certainly strains credulity), is quickly recruited to fight in a legendary tournament — the titular “Mortal Kombat” — with the fate of Earth in his hands. (seriously. This calls for a lot of fighting.)

The trailer also provides a good look at the latest live-action versions of Sonya, Kano, Raiden, Jax, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung, and Kung Lao, along with the supernatural fighting warriors Sub-Zero and Scorpion (the video game’s unofficial mascots).

The Star Cast of The Mortal Kombat

Jax engaged with Sub-zero

The lead cast includes Mehcad Brooks as Super Soldier Jax Briggs. He is a Special Forces officer with cybernetically-enhanced arms and steely nature.

Chin Han as Shang Tsung, Mortal Kombat baddie, Liu Kang’s arch-nemesis, and soul-sucking warlock.

Joe Taslim, a renowned martial artist, will play Sub-Zero’s character, one of the franchise’s most icily iconic characters.

Hiroyuki Sanada as the hell-bound ninja Hanzo Hasashi – aka Scorpion. Tadonobu Asano as the role of Raiden, the non-Asgardian God of Thunder, and in addition, Sisi Stringer, a newcomer, will play the evil clone of Kitana, Mileena.

What Viewers Can Expect

The new film is gearing up to reboot the hyper-violent fighting game after the original Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat: Annihilation films from the 1990s.

The trailer has flourishingly stirred the uproar in the air. Fans are overwhelming to welcome their childhood favorite on-screen again after a long time. The mention of fatalities has started great debates across social media platforms.

Viewers will get the chance to see very well-known martial arts actors with others of outstanding work in different genres of TV and theater screen. The martial artist/actor Chris Casamassa who played Scorpion in the original 1995 movie, is also exciting.
