The trailer of Never Have I Ever Season 2 has shown Devi Vishwakumar dive deep into the dating pond. Mindy Kaling is the creator of the series which is based on her childhood. The series mainly roams around Devi (played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) who is an Indian-American high school student.
Devi seems to develop her interest in boys while keeping a close look at her academics too. Devi’s relationship with her mother Nalini (played by Poorna Jagannathan) gets worse after her father’s death (Sendhil Ramamurthy).

Never Have I Ever Season-1 saw Devi starting her love life and the same story will continue in the second season. Devi seems to be confused between two boyfriends Paxton (played by Darren Barnet) and Ben (played by Jarren Lewison). Paxton is her longtime crush and Devi dreamt to have him all the time.
On the other hand, Ben was just a random fellow of her. Devi’s friends Fabiola (played by Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (played by Ramona Young) seem to advise her for her good. They bring an element of comedy as well while guiding Devi.

Netflix has just released the new trailer of Never Have I Ever Season 2, which will arrive on July 15. The trailer has shown Devi explaining the pros and cons of dating any of the two, Ben and Paxton. She ends up with no conclusion for which she decides that she’ll have two boyfriends. This seems to be messy because no boy in the world wants to share his girl. Devi also considers another Indian-American girl at the same school as her competitor in terms of this dating game.

The romantic scenes aren’t restricted to Devi only, her friend Fabiola also seems to dive into this dating pond. Devi’s mom is a bit overprotective for which she doesn’t like Devi hanging out with boys. However, Devi’s positive attitude is giving rise to her love life which is enough to make her happy. In her case, she doesn’t seem to be afraid of starting a new and exciting phase of her life.
New Additions to the Show
The trailer has also shown a new character named Dr. Chris Jackson (played by Common). But Kaling herself hasn’t yet appeared in the show for which fans are curious. She may appear at the end of season 2 and add to the beauty of the show, but nothing is obvious as of now.
Never Have I Ever Season 1 was all about Devi’s tough family life as well as her complicated romantic life. Season 2 will most probably see her achieving her dreams and getting the love of her life.
