Hartley Sawyer’s Remarks on Being Firing from The Flash

The Executive Producer ofThe Flash has explained the impact of Hartley Sawyer’s firing and the pandemic on Season 7. The actor described the role of ELONGATED MAN on CW Series and on Arrowverse. But he was fired back in June 2020 for posting misogynistic and racial tweets.

Eric Wallace, the Executive Producer confirmed the appearance of Ralph Dibny earlier, but the controversy made him change his decision. Wallace also described the changes made in the 1st and 3rd episodes of the season. The departure of Hartley and the challenges associated with COVID-19 were the major reasons for these changes.

Wallace further added that the change in first episode because of the above-mentioned reasons was almost 20%. He said, We worked really hard for finishing Eva’s story and the episode is more powerful now. We relied a bit more on the emotions of characters and the actors/actresses themselves. Besides this, we relied more on the introduction of new things in the series along with the twists.

On the other hand, Hartley Sawyer’s remarks on bhis departure said, My words were surely not acceptable at all. I apologize to all my fans for this mishap but that was totally unintentional. I regret my attention-seeking attempts deeply.”
