The show debuted in May last year, but its renewal was delayed because of the ongoing situation of COVID. Moreover, in order to lower the budget, the show has also agreed to move its production to Vancouver. Based on all these things, the expected release time for the show is the first quarter of 2022.

As of now, the administration hasn’t announced the arrival of any new cast member to the show. The viewers are expecting the same old members to return. Mark Naird along with his family members Maggie (played by Lisa Kudrow) and Erin (played by Diana Silvers) may return for season 2.

Space Force Season 2 Story Details
In the finale of season 1, Mark Naird took a sensible decision that may harm his future as a General. The President’s administration asked to retaliate right after the conflict between China and America. However, Mark didn’t ask his team to counterattack. The Chief of Staff of the Air Force then ordered to detain General Mark in order for him to reunite with his family. While Mark was in the helicopter, he had two choices; the first one was to return to the base in order to help his team and the second option was to fly to a safer place.
The first season ended before he made his decision. Season 2 may see the return of Mark to his team to assist them as they’re in danger on the moon. Moreover, in Space Force Season 2, viewers may also get to know why Mark’s wife was in prison
