Eternals were actually there to Kill the Evolved Deviants
Arishem was the one who sent the Deviants to Earth in order to remove predators such as dinosaurs. However, the Deviants themselves became predators. So, Arishem had to send the Eternals to save humans from these Deviants. However, in present day, they return again to kill Eternals in order to take their powers back to evolve more.
- Gilgamesh has Died while saving Thena
After the Deviants’ eradication, Ajak asked the team to go and live their lives. Gilgamesh and Thena decide to go together. However, Thena goes wild because her mind starts remembering all the bad memories from her past. While trying to protect Thena from a Deviant, Gilgamesh jumped into their fight and ended up losing his own life.
- Ajak’s Death by the Deviants
Few days before film’s main events, Ajak visits Ikaris’ home to inform him about the happening of the Emergence. However, Ajak doesn’t seem to be happy with it. As a result, Ikaris takes Ajak to visit the Deviants who came from ice and throws her off a cliff. That’s how Ikaris leads her to death.
- Arishem will come back to Judge Earth
To the Eternals’ surprise, alongside the Deviants, the Celestials also come out as their enemies. After Sersi and the team led Tiamut to death in order to prevent Earth, Arishem arrived to join them. It’s up to him now to decide whether there should be a civilization on Earth or not.
- Ikaris’ Death after He flies into Sun
When the Eternals’ uni-mind connection broke, Ikaris apologizes with tears to Sersi for what he’s done. Sprite created a myth in Athens that Ikaris’ wings will burn off if he flies close to sun. Ikaris seemed to do the same. Because he didn’t want to face his family after what he’s done, he flies directly into the biggest star and ultimately dies.
- Sprite Becoming a Human at the End
Sprite also wanted the Emergence to happen just like Ikaris. Since all others started to blend into humans, Sprite started to feel lonely. At the end of the film, Sersi offers her to become a human with her remaining energy from uni-mind. Sprite agreed to it because she also wanted to live like others, even though she knew that she’ll grow older and die one day.
With all these spoilers in mind, fans will get to know how suspenseful the movie is. The characters’ development makes it even more beautiful and obviously the people living on Earth can relate to it also.
