When the painting career of Anthony is at the edge of extending, he has a chance encounter with a Cabrini Green old inhabitant (Colman Domingo). He told Anthony the spooky and scary story about the Candyman. Anxious Anthony was struggling to retain his status and position in the art world of Chicago. So he spotted this opportunity to regain his position in the Chicago art realm.
Therefore, Anthony set out to explore horrifying details in his studio fuel for his incredible paintings. But mistakenly, he opened the doors for a complex past by saying Candyman 5 times. Which then became a reason for a disastrous wave of violence. The Candyman killed many people, including Brianna’s co-worker, his girlfriend, a group of teenage girls, and many others. This violence then puts him into a situation to fight for his destiny.
