Hawkeye, starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and introducing Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, will be the first live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe film to premiere on Disney+ on November 24. Hawkeye’s trailer looks like it’ll be a lot of fun, and it might introduce a new significant character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A new appearance

Pizza-Dog first appeared in Matt Fraction’s critically acclaimed Hawkeye comic series. The upcoming Disney+ program, judging on this first teaser, will strongly reference the book and its incarnations of Hawkeye.
Hawkeye Character’s Breakdown
Hawkeye will follow the team-up of Clint and Kate, who will become the MCU’s new Hawkeye, following the events of Avengers: Endgame.
The casting announcement also revealed more details about the plot of the show Yelena Belova, played by Florence Pugh and first seen in Black Widow, will also appear.
Furthermore, Fra Fee will play Kazi, a.k.a. the Clown. The Clown is mercenary fighting for the Tracksuit Draculas, and he has his sights set on Clint, first introduced in Hawkeye by writer Matt Fraction and artist David Aja. Despite being wrongly assumed dead in the comics, Kate’s mother, Eleanor Bishop, will also appear on the show. Finally, Tony Dalton will play Swordsman, Clint’s former mentor, according to the casting statement.

According to Variety’s initial report, the show will be an “adventure series’’ in which Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, will pass the torch to Kate Bishop, the woman who takes on the mantle of Hawkeye when Barton dies in the comics. Bishop will be a solid addition to the MCU’s ever-growing line-up of heroes.
According to the new teaser, the first half of Hawkeye will likely focus on Barton and Steinfeld’s blossoming mentor-protege connection, as well as giving us an indication of what the Avengers archer has been up to since he saved the world yet again. That appears to involve seeing Steve Rogers: The Musical on Broadway, which seems to be a show tunes-heavy version of the Battle of New York from 2012’s The Avengers. The series will also feature Echo, a.k.a. Maya Lopez, a deaf Native American character who can imitate fighting tactics.
All of this suggests that the second half of the season will introduce Lopez and see Belova enter the fray, leading to a significant standoff in which Bishop will finally reach master archer status.
