Devon Sawa, the Chucky series star, has just released a new poster from the horror show. He’s going to announce his upcoming Child’s Play project in the next few days. Don Mancini is the show’s creator, while Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif, Fiona Dourif, Christine Elise McCarthy, and some newcomers including Teo Briones, Sawa, Alyvia Alyn Lind, and Zackary Arthur are also a part of the Series.
About Good Guy Doll and Charles Lee Ray
The Series is filmed in a small town with a lot of action and drama. It features a doll that goes up for sale, and ultimately a series of murders start. Whenever we talk about the killer dolls in a series or a movie, only two names come to mind, i.e., Annabelle and Chucky Series. However, before it became a terrible doll, the Chucky Series was a serial killer, and its name was Charles Lee Ray.

The police in the Chicago area called Chucky “The Lakeshore Strangler.” Detective Mike Norris (played by Chris Sarandon) caught Charles and shot him at the moment. However, Charles managed to survive and entered a toy store nearby. There, he somehow converted his soul into an item named Good Guy Doll. Karen Barclay bought it without knowing much, and it turned out to be a nightmare for her.

While searching for the actual murderer behind all those murders, the entire town comes across their secrets. This creates even more chaos. Don Mancini started working on this project some four years ago after the Child’s Play reboot failure. But the production delays caused by COVID didn’t let him release the Series earlier. While the show’s first trailer is about to premiere, Sawa’s posters shared by Twitter have made the fans curious. The reason is that there was no such series created after Annabelle and The Nun. Let’s take a look at the poster first, which shows a glimpse of the doll.
Mancini has announced one more interesting thing regarding the show. It is going to be aired on both USA Network as well as SYFY. The Series is quite close to the conclusion, and some rumors have also started to roam around the fans. Even though the poster doesn’t show much about the Series, it gives an idea of what will happen.
How Has Charles Spent His Entire Life?
Some of the facts regarding Charles’ life have already been revealed in the earlier Chucky shows. From those details, we came to know about Charles’ obsession with a girl named Sarah Pierce. For her to marry Charles, he killed her husband first and then owned her. So, Charles seems more like Joe Goldberg from You Series, who used to do the same. However, there is a lot more to come for the fans. With its trailer date’s announcement in the coming days, it looks like the show will get released in December 2021.
