Jackass Forever is an American comedy film that is on its way. It is the most awaited sequel of the leading film franchise Jackass 3D 2010. It is the fifth overall franchise to the Jackass film series. Jeff Tremaine directs it.

The trailer of this new film has been released that brings in some truly insane stunts and jokes. This MTV series started in 2000 that emerged as a blockbuster movie franchise. The jokes and actions of the movie can range from disgusting to painful movements. Johnny Knoxville working as a star of the Jackass, suffered from several injuries, from his head to his limbs to his groin area. Jackass is the fourth installment of Paramount film that has a beloved ensemble of dudes who did painful stunts by using blunt things and dangerous animals. Watch the trailer below

Cast and Crew of the Jackass Forever

This franchise is experiencing reprised entire cast from previous installments except for Bam Margera. Those will include Johnny Knoxville, Preston Lacy, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Danger Ehren, Dave England, and Steve-O. Knoxville has retired from the film, but the previous scenes would be in the movie. It also brings some new blood, such as Jasper Dolphin, Compston “Darkshark” Wilson, Eric Manaka, Rachel Wolfson, Zach Holmes, and Sean “Poopies” McInerney. This recommends the future ahead of Jackass but without Knoxville. This brand new installment can prove a longtime franchise that fans wanted.

Previous installments and TV shows were produced and written by Jeff Tremaine (directed too) and Spike Jonze. The co-producer and photographer Sean Cliver of the last series. Previous camera operators were Lance Bangs and Rick Kosick. All this crew will be in the forthcoming movie. But this will be the first series that will not feature the guest appearance of Rip Taylor as he died in October 2019.

Jackass Forever Gearing up to Hit the Theaters

The COVID-19 Pandemic altered the Hollywood studios’ plans regarding releasing the biggest titles. Even though The Matrix Resurrections and Dune went day-and-date to HBO-Max, Warner Bros’ all big projects.

On the other side, Paramount did not opt for streaming its projects. Its horror project, Scream, hit the theaters despite the Pandemic situation. The movie’s success at the box office shows that audiences are willing to go to theaters for the anticipated big titles. So for this upcoming Jackass Forever, Paramount is doing the same practice, and the movie will hit the theaters in the United States exclusively on February 4, 2022. However, it will release after several release delays due to Pandemic.

Does Netflix have Jackass?

Ehren McGhehey said they filmed so many scenes for the new Jackass. He added they have two films worth of footage. Following the pattern of previous installments as Jackass 2.5 and Jackass 3.5 versions, this installment will have another version title as Jackass 4.5. This version features behind the scene footage as there are many shots to make even a whole new movie. According to Chris Pontius, this version will release on Netflix later.

Jackass Trilogy

There could be some audience who want to watch the original Jackass trilogy for nostalgic purposes. So there are Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, and Jackass 3D that are readily available to take on rent or purchase by digital retailers like Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Google Play. But the audience cannot have this trilogy currently on streaming platforms like Netflix. But the audience can watch Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, which is streaming on Paramount+ only for subscribers. On the other hand, Jackass fans have to shell out a few dollars to rent or purchase the original trilogy if they want to watch it before the Jackass Forever comes in theaters.
