Legends of Tomorrow: Why Season 6 is not Going Good?

Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 is in progress, but it hasn’t made its mark yet, just like its previous seasons. The show doesn’t seem to be living up to the expectations of the viewers. As of Friday, the ratings for the show were down. The main reason is that the series has a large number of characters in it. So, they need some more time and episodes to balance the cast, which unnecessarily prolongs the show. Ultimately, the fans stop watching it in the middle and suggest others not to watch it. Legends of Tomorrow hasn’t utilized most of their cast members to their highest potential, for which they are struggling.

Legends of Tomorrow is considered the weirdest Arrowverse show, which makes it a shining star in this superhero genre. The characters play with time, elapses, and go in the past to fix every disaster they were responsible for. Season 6 is also the continuation of the same story with not many changes.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5: Ending Explained

The end of season 5 saw the aliens kidnapping Sara Lance. She is currently present on another planet with Gary Green, who is an alien himself. The rest of Sara’s team members are looking for every possible way to bring her back to Earth. In the meantime, they’ve stopped looking for the aliens and their schemes. Season 6 has started right from here.

The series has a bloated cast, but the way they struggle to balance the characters doesn’t seem reasonable. If the series comprises so many characters, there is no way you can give every one of them something significant to do. Sara isn’t on Earth and is in a strange situation where alien Amelia Earhart has bitten her. So, Sara has her storyline. However, the problem comes when the storylines of Gary Green disconnect from others. As a result of this, some of the characters do not get the attention they deserve. So, the split storylines are no more successful, especially for the “Legends of Tomorrow.”

How has the Character Development been in Legends of Tomorrow Season 6?

Both characters( Gary Green and Sara Lance) have nothing much to do in each episode. After introducing Behrad in Legends of Tomorrow Season 5, his character didn’t get enough development. He was just shown as the younger brother of Zari. Besides this, Astra is a character who seems to look for a way to live a human life outside of Waverider. She had to be given an expanded role in Legends of Tomorrow Season 6, which hasn’t happened till now. Another character named Spooner is the most recent addition to the Waverider. However, fans know nothing about her because the show is spread so thin.

So, character development is one of the critical things that make a series successful. But unfortunately, Legends of Tomorrow Season 6 lacked it, for which they’re paying the price.
