Marvel’s upcoming series Loki new trailer has just confirmed the return of The MCU to Asgard. At the end of Thor: Ragnarök, the fiery rampage by demon lord Surtur destroyed the territory of gods badly. However, it still seems like Loki’s time travel adventures will bring The MCU to Asgard at some point. But it is quite obvious that this Loki will be different from the Loki of Thor film who wanted salvation. He also sacrificed his life in Avengers: InfinityWar. This particular series is going to follow the Loki from Avengers: Endgame who was trying to be the king of Asgard.
Insights into Loki New Trailer
Loki from Marvel will follow his alternative Loki who went away right after the Avengers’ New York Battle. He used the Tesseract which became available because of the interference the future Avengers did with time. They did it just to bring the Infinity Stones back to their past. However, when Loki escaped with the Tesseract, a lot of realities started to come out. Since Loki broke the flow of the time, Time Variance Authority needs him now to restore that flow. This will surely be interesting because the variant Loki hasn’t gone through his redemption journey in MCU films. So, the new Loki has a whole new path in front of him to follow.
Loki’s new trailer has shown Loki in Odin’s throne room. This is either a flashback to his past or it’s Loki’s visit to the branch reality created by himself. Moreover, Loki can also be seen standing with the throne behind his back. This surely indicates that Asgard has accepted Loki at its ruler. Moreover, the throne isn’t the same that we saw in previous MCU films. All these things indicate the start of Loki’s kingdom but the actual series will clear all these doubts.

What’s Does Loki’s Walk through the Hallway Suggest?
Besides this, some of the shots see Loki walking through a dark way which might be Asgard. But bright cracks are also present above the doors surrounding Loki. This may indicate that it’s Loki’s very first visit to his demise. If it’s so, it’s the golden opportunity for the variant Loki to meet this original Loki and take a closer look at this version of himself. This will also inspire the variant Loki to follow the footsteps of original Loki to be successful.
The actual details regarding the return to Asgard aren’t yet clear, but seeing Thor and Loki’s home again is interesting. This and a lot more things will get clear once Marvel’s Loki returns on Disney+.
