Characters in Powerpuff Girls and Show’s Future Ambitions
The first few set photos from Powerpuff Girls reboot show have revealed some of the main cast members. The last time Cartoon Network released a new Powerpuff Girls episode was some fifteen years back. Fans, especially the children, had to see the same old episodes repeatedly, but their wait is over now. The original series has just launched a multimedia franchise that roams around Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles. The CW may take this franchise to a whole new level by regularly uploading new episodes. This will surely bring some new fans as well.
The writers and producers of Powerpuff Girls are some of the biggest names in the film and cartoon industry. Diablo Cody(Juno’s writer), Heather Regnier(Sleepy Hollow’s writer), and Greg Berlanti (Arrowverse producer) are a few of those. Powerpuff Girls had been in the making since August 2020. The confirmation about the cast members has brought the release even nearer. Blossom(Chloe Bennet), Bubbles(Dove Cameron), and Buttercup(Yana Perrault) are the three main characters from the show. The first set photo came right after one month of these characters’ association with the series.

Set Photo and Video from Powerpuff Girls
TMZ shared the set photo and video. The picture shows all the three main characters in their costumes, and fans can easily recognize them. Blossom has her typical pink classy look; Bubbles is wearing blue while Buttercup is in a green dress. Besides this, the video clearly shows Blossom flying while the other two are running behind her to catch her.
This first look of the main characters came on the very first day of shooting. Since CW has hinted at a whole season of the show, there is no better feeling for the fans than this. Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will be in action again to save the world from evil. They’ll work together for the peace and prosperity of this world and will shine once again. They’ll utilize all the powers they’ve for the betterment. Besides all this, Donald Faison will feature as Professor Utonium. He’s the same scientist who provides these girls with their powers and is present in the video (background).
What to Expect from Powerpuff Girls’ Costumes in the Set Photo? As of now, the costumes these girls are wearing show the animation and nothing else. The simple designs and colors of these costumes don’t seem to reveal anything special about the show. But these costumes may have a lot of special stories to tell to the fans. Nothing can be predicted as of now. So, fans must wait for some time till its release to know what’s going on in the show and what to expect from the upcoming season of Powerpuff Girls!
