Michael Mann Passion Project
This year a new Hollywood movie is filming. This film describes as “Passion Project” by the director of this film. It dedicates to the life of Italian motor racing icon and entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari. The director Michael Mann has been working on it for the last two decades. The film’s production will start in May of this year which filming will take place in Italy. Filming locations will be Modena and Emilia Romagna.
The forthcoming passion project will produce by Mann’s Moto Productions banner. The project has executive producer Niels Juuls. Thorsten Schumacher, P.J. van Sandwijk, John Lesher, and Gareth West will also work with him.
The film script has written by Troy Kennedy-Martin. It shows inspiration from a 1991 book titled Enzo Ferrari: The Man and the Machine by journalist Brock Yates.
Who will Play the Role of Enzo Ferrari?
After the time of twenty-two years, Christian Bale had cast in 2015. He had worked with Mann in the film Public Enemies. Unfortunately, he got advised to give up the role as he had health concerns. For this role, he had to gain weight.
Later in 2017, an Aussie actor Hugh Jackman had cast to replace Bale. There are no updates about the film. Instead, the film is gearing up for the filming but with another actor for the leading role.

It will star Adam Driver two-time Oscar nominee for the role of Enzo. Penelope Cruz, Oscar winner will be cast as her estranged wife, Laura. Shailene Woodley Emmy nominee as Lina Lardi, the mistress of Enzo. According to the Deadline report, these three cast members will work for Mann’s new film Ferrari.
The Plot of the Film
The film will feature events from the summer of 1957. It will come amid Enzo’s bankruptcy concerns. It will be interesting for the audience to see Driver, who is 38 will, play the role of Enzo, who was 59 years old in 1957. It will show his crumbling marriage and the aftermath of the death of his son Dino at the age of 24.
Despite this entire dramatic backdrop, he made a doomed decision. He decided to participate in the year’s fateful Mille Miglia car race across Italy. In real life, while racing Ferrari, the driver traveled at 250 per hour when one tire blew. This speed caused the car accident and killed the diver, co-driver, and nine spectators. Enzo died at the age of 90 in 1988.
