Riordan updated the audience about the series. This provisional date is showing that either show’s pre-production is complete or is near to close. His caveat saying “all goes as planned” shows his concerns regarding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Due to this pandemic, production of many films and TV series have halted for two years. If all goes as planned, it would still be the start of 2023 rather than 2022 when the show premieres on Disney+.
