The last season of Ozark is a super-sized season with 14 episodes. The first part of 7 episodes has debuted, while Ozark season 4 part 2 is gearing up to air on Netflix.

Season 3 of the series left the audience on a major cliffhanger. Now Netflix is picking up the string from the point where it left off with Wendy and Marty in Mexico. Netflix hit shows Ozark still has seven episodes left to go, and here is everything for its fans to know.

The fourth season first part followed the ending of season 3. The previous season ended with the gruesome murder of lawyer Helen Pierce. The murder happened in front of Marty and his wife, Wendy. Marty and Wendy also tried to make a deal with Navarro, a drug kingpin, for their freedom. This deal also demonstrates securing a tough deal between Navarro and the FBI.

The season highlighted the Byrde family trying to find a way to cut a deal for Omar Navarro with the FBI. It also showed the problematic relationship of parents with children, Charlotte and Jonah. All these emerged from the FBI and even from the Byrde family, which set up a dramatic season 4 part 2.

Why Ozark Season 4 has Two Parts?

Ozark, with its fourth season is ruling the top charts of Netflix. But it is only half part of the season, as the season has divided into two parts as Breaking Bad.

Now fans want to know when this part will air and why it has split into two parts. It may have why Netflix is attempting to win more awards for the show. In this manner, the show will be eligible for different Emmy years. So, season 4, part 1 is suitable for the Emmys till May 31, 2022. While part 2 that air after May 31 will eligible for the following year. Ozark season 4 part 2 will not set sail before May 31. But it is also expected that Netflix will air it for a date in July or August.

Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore has got two Emmys for Ozark in 2019 and 2020. It assumes that Netflix wants two more for her in 2021 and 2022 for both parts of the season. It is also possible this drama ends up with a Best Drama win at some point.

All the cast members of Ozark have returned for the final run. Once again, Jason Bateman will play his role as Martin “Marty” Byrde. Opposite to him is his wife playing by Laura Linney as Wendy Byrde. Sofia Hublitz as Charlotte and Skylar Gaertner as Jonah Byrde is coming back in part 2. Julia Garner will have revenge in mind and come back as Ruth Langmore. Jessica Frances Dukes had played by Maya Miller. She is an FBI forensic accountant who will reprise her role in part 2. At the end of part 1 of season 4, she arrested cartel kingpin Omar Navarro.

Felix Solis is playing Navarro, who is planning to come back from prison. Fans will see Damian Young as Byrdes’ ally Jim Rattelsdor. At the same time, Alfonso Herrera is Navarro’s hot-headed nephew and lieutenant. A nephew named Javier “Javi” Elizonndro agreed to provide intelligence to the FBI. Last but not least, Adam Rothenberg will come as private investigator Mel Sattem.

Two main characters appeared in part 1 but will not come in part 2. Darlene Snell played by Lisa Emery, and Wyatt Langmore by Charlie Tahan. Both of them were brutally murdered by Javier in part 1, prompting Ruth to seek vengeance.
