Amazon asked for just 8 episodes for The Boys Season 1 in 2017, and the show was released in July 2019. Season 2 came one year after the arrival of season 1. However, the filming of Season 3 doesn’t seem to happen till 2022 because of the ongoing pandemic. Fans may have to wait for another 18 months to see their favorite TV show back again.

The Boys Season 3 is going to set on a college campus. In one of his interviews with The Wrap, Eric Kripke revealed that G-Men is mainly the show’s basis. G-Men is a parody of X-Men, which is a part of The Boys Comics. The series seems to include some sex comedy to make things interesting. Moreover, the inclusion of a college campus shows some educational experience as well. Kripke is hoping for the show to be a realistic and astonishing one so that the fans’ excitement stays alive.
