The filming of The Boys Season 3 started in February in Toronto, but COVID didn’t allow it to last long. Season 2 saw the plans of Nazi Stormfront getting derailed when Ryan reduced her to a stump. The Boys were clear of all the criminal charges while Hughie Campbell started working for the congresswoman. Jensen Ackles has joined the cast as the Soldier Boy, who has increased the fans’ excitement. Amazon asked for just 8 episodes for The Boys Season 1 in 2017, and the show was released in July 2019. Season 2 came one year after the arrival of season 1. However, the filming of Season 3 doesn’t seem to happen till 2022 because of the ongoing pandemic. Fans may have to wait for another 18 months to see their favorite TV show back again.

The Boys Season 3 is going to set on a college campus. In one of his interviews with The Wrap, Eric Kripke revealed that G-Men is mainly the show’s basis. G-Men is a parody of X-Men, which is a part of The Boys Comics. The series seems to include some sex comedy to make things interesting. Moreover, the inclusion of a college campus shows some educational experience as well. Kripke is hoping for the show to be a realistic and astonishing one so that the fans’ excitement stays alive.
